Thanks to all who came to celebrate 20 years of creating community with the women of St. Margaret's House as they shared their stories of strength, courage, and hope.

Fashioning Our Lives is not an ordinary luncheon.  The women of St. Margaret's House participate in the planning of the event from beginning to end.  They meet for ten weeks, twice a week to participate in workshops and learn new skills as they plan the luncheon.  They select the theme, prepare the program, contact corporate donors and make decisions critical to the successful outcome of the event. This year our event was a success and the stories shared were real.  Thanks to all who attended and helped share SMH message.

Thanks to everyone who came to visit our booth at this year's ArtBeat in Downtown South Bend.

Our cottage industry, Silk Creations, sold several scarves, ties and cards.

Thanks to everyone who attend this year's Gala!  It was our best year ever and a huge success. Donors won some great items through the silent auction and had fun dancing the night away.

We are especially grateful for the local artists who are donating their original pieces of art to help raise money for St. Margaret's House and their important work of meeting the needs and improving the lives of women and children who struggle with poverty.  We are also grateful to the staff of The Woodward Room who have donated their facility and time necessary to make this event a wonderful success.
