A public sale featuring hand painted silk will be held at the Christian Reformed Church on August 19th. Another area silk artist will be featured as well as Silk Creations scarves for sale.

Art Beat 2011
August 27 . 11 AM – 6 PM
The Mission of Art Beat is to showcase South Bend and the surrounding community's variety of local performing, visual and culinary artists and create awareness for the roles that the downtown organizations and businesses play in the artisans' promotion and success. Downtown will serve as a venue for local artisans to display and perform their work and as a destination to showcase the local businesses that work to promote the various art forms every day.
