This is the fourth year that Raymond James has organized and held this event, raising thousands of dollars for St. Margaret’s House. But this is the most important one yet.
Beginning in April of 2008 and continuing to the end of last year, St. Margaret's House experienced a 35% increase of people seeking help when compared to the same months in 2007. This year, in 2010, we continue to see increased needs. We are also seeing a decrease in donations as many of our regular donors struggle with the downturn in the economy. So, we are especially grateful for the local artists who are donating their original pieces of art to help raise money for St. Margaret's House and their important work of meeting the needs and improving the lives of women and children who struggle with poverty. We are also grateful to the staff of The Woodward Room who have donated their facility and time necessary to make this event a wonderful success.
